Up early this morning at 0500. Totally forgot about the time change. I’m wading through a scene in Chapter 26 right now and pushing to get some real progress today. Day 1 was a bust and I think I might have actually written about 100 words yesterday. I spent an inordinate amount of time staring at the screen and trying to move through Phillip Larock’s current activity.
I know what’s happening, but I’m having a hard time getting up and running. The best part, I suppose, is that I’ve already been through this several times over the past few years. I’m not worried about it because once I get the scent and find the track I’ll be off and running. The story will flow in torrents of words and the difficult pause will be forgotten.
